Floors in these settings see consistent weekday traffic but have predictable low-use periods on evenings and weekends. A reasonable schedule runs burnishing monthly, a recoat one to two times per year, and a full strip-and-wax once or twice annually. Offices with hard floor in reception areas and hallways may need more frequent attention in those zones than in private offices.
Low-traffic environments include storage rooms, back-of-house areas, and private offices with minimal foot volume. These floors can hold a quality finish for 12 months before a recoat is needed. What burnishing, recoating, and stripping each do

Strip-and-wax removes every finish layer down to bare tile using an alkaline stripper and a floor machine with a stripping pad.
