What the inspection cycle documents

Every restroom attendant visit should produce a log entry. The log doesn’t need to be complex, but it needs to exist. A paper log sheet on the restroom door or a mobile app entry with timestamp and attendant ID accomplishes the same thing: a record that the restroom was checked at a specific time.

This documentation serves two purposes. First, it gives the facility manager a way to verify coverage actually happened rather than assuming it did. Fixture disinfection. All toilets, urinals, and sink basins cleaned and disinfected. This isn’t a wipe that removes visible soil. It’s a dwell-time disinfection cycle using an EPA-registered disinfectant at the labeled contact time.
